Language Access

Language Access

At Ayuda, we work to make sure that everyone can get help when they need it, regardless of the language that they speak, and here’s how we do it:

Provide. Train. Advocate.

  • Provide an interpreter for any client who goes to a public interest lawyer or a victim-services provider and is not English-language proficient
  • Train interpreters, lawyers, advocates, and the public about the importance of language access and how to provide it effectively
  • Advocate for the enforcement of local and federal laws that require interpretation and translation services

“The protection of the Constitution extends to all, to those who speak other languages as well as to those born with English on the tongue.”

—Meyer v. Nebraska, 262 U.S. 390, 401 (1923)

We partner with and work for a wide array of clients, non-profit organizations, legal and social professionals, and more. Use one of the links below to learn about our language access services, our partnerships, and our opportunities.
