Non-Legal Internships

Non-Legal Internships:

Our non-legal internships help our organization continue to grow across a variety of our departments including our Operations team, Language Access Program team, Grants team, Communications team, Development team, and Volunteer/Intern Program team all based at our downtown DC administrative office. We also recruit for internships with our Social Services team, which are offered at all three of our office locations (DC, MD, VA).

Regarding the general recruitment for our non-legal internships, it is especially important to note any specific internship qualifications/requirements in their listings below. We are open to receiving applications from undergraduates, graduate students, or recent graduates and encourage dedicated, well-qualified individuals to apply for their internship/s of choice.

All Ayuda interns are expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, basic computer literacy and understanding of Microsoft Office suite, be able to work well independently and as part of a team, maintain initiative and responsibility, and be based in the DMV region with the ability to report to their assigned office multiple times a month.

For all our non-legal internships, we extend preference to bilingual applicants (especially those with Spanish fluency) with some listings like our social services internship requiring and vetting during interviews.
