JEREMY HALDEMAN

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HISPANIC NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION

Jeremy currently serves as the Executive Director of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and President of the HNBA / VIA Fund. He is a seasoned nonprofit executive with 25 years of management, leadership, policy, advocacy, and legal experience. He has worked across a broad range of domestic and foreign policy portfolios in senior level positions in the U.S. Congress, the federal government, and multiple nonprofits. Jeremy has considerable management experience, including having built, led, and supported teams ranging in size from 2 – 60 across a variety of initiatives, sectors, and organizations. He has a comprehensive background in board relations, principal management, fundraising, coalition administration, operations, and strategy implementation. 

Prior to HNBA, Jeremy served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Community Sponsorship Hub (CSH) where he led several program teams, the practice, data, and research teams, and oversaw the organization’s user research and advocacy efforts. He was responsible for the effective implementation of over $20 million in programming and managed 55 staff across multiple functions. Prior to joining CSH, he held several positions at Alight, international humanitarian assistance nonprofit, including heading up government affairs and creating and leading a new corporate and philanthropic fundraising office. Jeremy has also held senior-level positions in the U.S. government, including multiple roles in the U.S. House of Representatives and as the Associate Director of the Peace Corps. 

Jeremy began his professional career in the legal profession serving as a law clerk on the Missouri Court of Appeals, and then as an attorney for the City of St. Louis.
