Erick Castro has served as Community Engagement Manager for Georgetown University’s Government Relations office since April 2022, functioning as a liaison between DC government agencies, community organizations, and the university. He previously worked with the After School Kids Program, providing case management for adjudicated DC youth. Outside of his full-time work, Castro teaches emergency medicine courses for journalists and facilitates a Spanish-language book club for inmates at the DC Jail.
