Who We Serve
The Ayuda Social Services team specializes in working with the immigrant community, in particular survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.
Ayuda Social Services provides trauma-informed, holistic case management, culturally specific counseling, and emotional accompaniment and advocacy to survivors of crime who live in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Our services are provided in multiple languages
- All social services and programs are voluntary and at no cost
- Social services participation does not require a legal case with Ayuda

Safety Planning & Crisis Intervention
- We will partner closely with you in identifying the best and practical strategies to decrease risk factors and increase your emotional and physical safety.
- Our team will help you outline basic steps you can follow in times of crisis and ways to react when you are in danger.
Emotional Support & Therapy
- Our team will help you identify your own strengths and skills, set up personal goals to overcome life challenges.
- Our specialized therapist will provide trauma informed mental health services to help you cope and thrive.
Information & Referrals
- Our team will help you navigate and get access to resources and services in your local community
- Our case managers will assist in connecting you with other agencies that are available to support you and your family.
