Anuscè is Ayuda’s Associate Director of Legal Programs where she ensures the delivery of client-centered, high-quality legal services across Ayuda’s offices in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Anuscè is an immigration attorney and human rights advocate with over a decade of experience representing vulnerable populations, particularly immigrant survivors of gender-based violence. Born to Iranian parents, raised in Italy, and later migrating to the United States, her personal journey as an immigrant informs her unwavering commitment to advancing justice and equity. Prior to joining Ayuda, Anuscè served as the Senior Managing Attorney for the Tahirih Justice Center.

Throughout her career, Anuscè has worked to strengthen interdisciplinary services, enhance systemic advocacy, and promote public education on issues impacting immigrant communities. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to empowering those facing systemic inequities and driving lasting legal and social change.

Anuscè lives in Alexandria, VA and is an avid espresso connoisseur.
