Arleen Ramirez Borysiewicz’s seasoned experience in fundraising, external affairs, community relations, board development, and branding and marketing benefited Ayuda from 2014 – 2018. As its director of development for four years, she revived and grew Ayuda’s development and communications operations, helping to transform Ayuda to its next plateau of success. Arleen’s leadership raised the stature and brand of Ayuda’s signature annual anniversary event and its Welcome Breakfast. Private sector support from foundations, corporations, and individuals rose to record levels. She identified, cultivated, and recruited candidates for board nominations. She created the Ayuda Advisory Council to convene additional strategic leadership for Ayuda. Prior to Ayuda, Arleen worked for a national higher education nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. Currently, Arleen is the executive director for the NVMS Conflict Resolution Center.
