VICTORIA MAQUEDA
Director of Legal Programs
Victoria Maqueda is Ayuda’s Director of Legal Programs where she oversees Ayuda’s legal programs across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, including immigration, domestic violence, and family law services. She also leads the organization’s pro bono and Project END initiatives, ensuring high-quality, culturally sensitive legal assistance for low-income immigrant populations.
Between her two stints at Ayuda, Victoria completed a one-year Fellowship with the Santa Fe Dreamers Project in Santa Fe, NM where she represented clients in a wide variety of immigration relief and served recent immigrants at a for-profit immigration detention center in rural New Mexico.
Victoria received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelors in Spanish and Political Science magna cum laude from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Victoria is a proud daughter of Argentine immigrants and is a native Spanish speaker.
